Along with prehensile tails they use to hang onto things. They use their canines to help take down prey.

They mostly live solitary lives, but are sometimes found in trios. They live in caves in mostly in the side of mountains and sometimes in trees.

Their prey consists of Hawaiian boars, Hawaiian goats, Mega spotted deer, Mega mule deer, Hawaiian giant cattle, Hawaiian sheep, Runner wallabies, Hawaiian monk pytherons, Hawaiian bamboo rats, Monkey wallabies, Mouffalo, Stego-iguanas, Land turtles, Tropical turkeys, Ostrich Peafowl, Pheasantroos, Hawaiian Runners, Emu quails, Flightless doves and other birds.

They do eat that much prey yes, but however they were faced with many types of competitors they face like Frilled snakes, Hawaiian raptor cats, Hawaiian raptor dogs, Hawaiian falanxes, Hawaiian ravenes, Prowl mice, Hawaiian skinkraptors, Stripe softshells and Giant softshells.

During the breeding season, they would seek out mates. Mostly the males and females would work together to hunt prey. When the female is pregnant, the male would seek out to find easy meat to give. If the female give birth has cubs, both male and female take turns hunting and taking care of the cubs at the same time.
