Anatomy[]

Only relying on the singular modern species to go off of, the family group is often described as a species of limbless, slug-like creature that solely lived within subterranean springs and waterways. The eyes on the modern specimen have evolved two sets: one at the front, and one in the back, as a trickery method to predators that try to sneak up on them. Although it appears to have two heads, it truly only has one at the front, with a surprisingly flexible proboscis to consume food.
